Water Bureau Reiterates its Commitment to Preserving the Mt Tabor Reservoirs

As you have noticed, Mt Tabor reservoir 6 is empty. The Portland Water Bureau posted this information on NextDoor in 2021:

The Portland Water Bureau will drain, clean, and refill the reservoirs at Mt. Tabor during the spring and summer of 2021.
We are stewards of Portland’s historic reservoirs located in Mt. Tabor Park. Working with representatives from both the Mt. Tabor Neighborhood Association and the Friends of Mt. Tabor Park, we have developed a long-term plan to manage the quantity and quality of water in the Mount Tabor open reservoirs.
